Learn to dive in Gili Air
Home · Experiences · Learn to dive in Gili Air
From a first breath underwater to a full Open Water certification, a few minutes from your room.
Gili Air is one of the gentlest places in the world to learn. Warm water the whole year, mild currents on the training sites, visibility that regularly passes twenty-five metres, and a shallow sand-bottomed bay to run the skills in.
Start with a half-day Discover Scuba if you only want to know what it feels like, or take the full PADI Open Water over three to four days and leave certified to dive anywhere in the world. Advanced, Rescue and Divemaster run from the same centre, a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.
Good to know. Discover Scuba takes half a day and needs no experience. Open Water runs over three to four days. Leave 24 hours between your last dive and any flight.
