How do I get to Gili Air?
From Bali, take a fast boat from Serangan or Padang Bai. Gili Getaway from Serangan takes roughly four hours; from Padang Bai it is 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on the boat and the weather. From Lombok, drive 2–3 hours from the airport to Bangsal harbour, then 15–20 minutes by boat. The last boat leaves at 5:00pm. We are a five-minute walk from the harbour, and a cidomo (horse cart) can carry your bags.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in from 2:00pm, check-out by 11:00am. Early check-in is available on request but cannot be guaranteed. Late check-out depends on availability; day use until 6:00pm is charged at 50% of the nightly rate.
How can I pay?
Cash in Indonesian Rupiah or most major currencies, or Visa and Mastercard. We charge no service fee on card payments. There are several ATMs and exchange offices on the island; our exchange rates follow the daily xe.com rate.
Is the hotel suitable for children?
The KOHO Air Hotel welcomes guests aged 14 and over. We have no children’s facilities, and the quiet is a large part of what our guests come for.
Can I bring my dog?
We do not allow pets. There are many free-roaming cats on Gili Air who consider the garden theirs.
Is smoking allowed?
All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted in the social areas of the property.
