There is no airport on Gili Air, and that is the point. Everybody arrives by boat — here is exactly how, from wherever you are starting.

Two airports, one crossing, three ways in. Wherever you land, the sea does the rest.

Times vary with weather and boat size. Always plan to reach your harbour by 4:00pm at the latest.
No cars.
None at all.
Gili Air has no motorised transport of any kind. People walk, cycle, or take a cidomo — a small horse-drawn cart. The island is roughly 1.5 km across, so you can walk the whole of it in about an hour.
We are a five-minute walk from the harbour. Tell us your boat and we will meet you there. Bring a soft bag rather than a hard wheeled suitcase — the paths are sand.
